Ordering Breakfast Gluten Free
This past weekend, Mike and I were up in New Hampshire with my parents. When we travel, I either eat Larabars
and Coffee for breakfast or we grab some quick, cheap grub at a random diner. We had a pretty lazy weekend of hiking and hanging out so we indulged and went to breakfast all three days we were there. Each day we chose a different location to see how they handled someone needing gluten free food. I never really noticed that I had unintentionally come up with a system of how to order breakfast gluten free. This became apparent when I found myself asking the same list of questions each day. If you're out and about and need to get breakfast, but you're in an area where the restaurants have no idea what gluten is... here's my method of ordering.

North Conway, NH - A GF hiker's delight!
It's that time of year again when my parents rent a little cottage in New Hampshire and spend their days hiking with the dogs and roasting marsh mallows over the fire pit. Last year, Mike and I decided to join them for one of the weekends they were there. Surprisingly, North Conway has a great selection of gluten free options.

Stay Tuned - More Gluten Free Shenanigans Coming Soon!
Like I mentioned in my last post, I have a huge back log for you. Upcoming articles include:
1) Bar Harbor, Maine - My Mexican Food Heaven
2) North Conway, New Hampshire - BBQ, Pizza and Mexican Oh My!
3) Northbridge House of Pizza - A Hidden Gluten Free Gem
4) Gluten Free Beer
5) My Thanksgiving is Even Better Gluten Free
Not necessarily in that order. ;o)
Also, I'll be attending Autodesk University in Las Vegas at the end of November and stopping up in Oakland, CA "On my way home". This adventure will take me on six different flights, a three day conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and a weekend with my friends and their "new" baby. We'll see how this goes. Let's just say I'm packing a tub of reduced fat Jif, which I'm 99% sure is gluten free and a bag of Udi's for good measure. I sure hope the TSA doesn't count peanut butter as a liquid. Ha.
